Joseph Gunset

As General Counsel, Lloyd’s America, Joe oversees a wide range of US legal issues, including legislative and regulatory policy, and acts as Lloyd’s key liaison with US regulators, legislators, and government officials on a variety of matters.

Joe joined Lloyd’s in 2000. He has worked in the insurance industry, in private practice and in-house, for over 25 years. Most recently, Joe was Vice President and General Counsel for a division of American International Group, Inc. (AIG).

A native New Yorker, Joe received his Juris Doctor from Fordham University School of Law.
