Annalise Mannix
Annalise Mannix is a Florida licensed Professional Engineer that specializes in wind and flood mitigation for structures, and sea level rise issues for communities. She is a project manager, and former Executive Director for Fair Insurance Rates in Monroe, a 3,000 member non-profit consumer advocacy organization, and as such was first appointed to National Association of insurance Commissioners Consumer Liaison Committee in 2014, remaining active in seeking rate adequacy, consumer education, and improved catastrophe modeling. Ms. Mannix helped develop the Four-County South Florida Regional Climate Compact and has over 20 years of experience in municipal engineering for South Florida coastal cities. She managed construction of over $80 million of FEMA funded flood and wind mitigation projects. Ms. Mannix holds a Master’s degree in Executive Management, a Bachelor’s of Engineering, and is President of her own engineering firm.
