Lee Shaw

Lee is a senior consultant and co-leader of our National Property Claims Advisory Practice Group. He has been with Wells Fargo Insurance since 2009 following acquisitions of Wachovia Insurance Services and Palmer and Cay.

Lee assists clients with pre-loss coverage analysis and post-loss claims preparation on large or complex claims. As the client’s advocate, he works closely with clients as they prepare and present their claims to the insurance carriers following single losses or catastrophic events.

Prior to joining Palmer and Cay in 2004, he held numerous claims management positions with insurance carriers and independent adjusting firms during his 35 year insurance claims career. His experience as a carrier examiner and as an independent adjuster gives him the ability to better understand their processes and negotiate more successfully with them.

Areas of Lee’s expertise include complex property claims, business interruption, extra expense, builder’s risk, and boiler & machinery.

Lee received a BA degree in Business Administration and Economics from Mercer University in Macon, Georgia. He is a Certified Insurance Counselor.
